Unified Control for Rectifier, MPPT, Battery, and Load Management

IPSM-C101 is the new generation DC power controller developed by I-Power . It offers many features and functions, with a more robust, user-friendly, and easy-to use interface. This power controller system is formed by this control module together with I-Power rectifier modules, solar modules and distribution plug-in frame (or distribution cabinet), realizing interactive operations in human-machine interfaces, controller of system operating state, intelligent battery management, and automatic energy-saving management. Northbound integration protocol: Modbus, SNMP V3, YDT-1363, CAN.

IPSM-C101 controller does support up to 4 independently metered load outputs, making it ideal for dual or multi-tenant telecom power deployments. Each output can be assigned, measured, and monitored individually, supporting precise billing and energy management for each tenant or system branch

Applications

This controller is for indoor/outdoor power supply use. In addition to controlling of rectifer modules, AC/DCdistribution, IPSM C101 manages battery charge, discharge, test, maximizes battery capacity and lifespan. With improved memory, IPSM C101 can store mass alarm/event and data logs for system performance analysis and fault diagnose. Dl/DO connectors and RS485/Ethernet ports provide flexible extension function and parameters setting, software and logs downloading uploading, remote monitor system accessing.

Communication

  • The Controller can communicate with the host computer in 2 modes: RS485 and Ethernet (WEB and SNMP). It can communicate with rectifer and solar modules in CAN bus mode.
  • 3 southbound RS485 for battery BMS or extension
  • For remote and local monitor system via WEB browser, controlling, parameters upload/download data load. function boards.
  • SNMP protocol supports GET, SET and TRAP on Ethernet

DI/DO

  • Support up to 12 user digital input interfaces at maximum
  • 8 groups of dry contact outputs freely configurable

Screen and LEDs

  • 160X128 LCD screen display running information and local setting interface.
  • Green/Yellow/Red LEDS indicate running status for local instant diagnose

Network Topology Design

1. Port:

CAN1/CAN2: Supports communication with BS, DG and other devices.

RS485: Supports connection to FSU, HEX, Smart DC/DC and AC meter

Ethernet interface: lt is used to import configuration export records, and upgrade software on the PC.

2. Adaptation Protocol:
